•     Motion to order the police departments Ford Explorer, to be purchased on The piggyback purchasing program for $ 21,550.00, to be paid in three one year payments.

 

7.   New Business:

 

•     Motion to authorize the solicitor to draft an Ordinance for the township’s acceptance of the Building Code and advertise the same for adoption at the May 3, 2004 meeting.

 

•     Employee recognition.

 

•     Motion to advertise for bids to complete the townships electrical work. Bids will be opened and read at the May 3, 2004 meeting.

 

•     Motion to adopt the PennDot seat Belt Safety

 

•     Motion to have the Observer Reporter delivered to the township building for 13 weeks at a cost of $ 2.90 per week.

 

•     Discussion to research acquiring Penn Dot road milling material for the park driveways.

 

•     Discuss bidding out the townships mechanical vehicle maintenance.

 

•     Discussion on Saw Mill Road.

 

•     Motion to open a interest bearing checking account for Liquid Fuels Money, as required by state regulations. The current account is not interest bearing.
