The Elrama Volunteer Fire Company is the primary fire and rescue service for all of Union Township, and works closely with the Finleyville Volunteer Fire Department to ensure a prompt response to emergencies throughout all areas of Union Township.  The fire company is a 100% volunteer non-profit organization, staffed with township residents trained in various types of firefighting techniques, emergency medical response, vehicle rescue, and other emergency situations.

While for emergencies, residents should call 911, our main station telephone number is (412) 384 - 8066.

Engine 24-1 is our main firefighting apparatus, utilized as first response for structure fires, brush fires, etc.

Engine 24-2 is our fire / rescue apparatus, which is the first response unit for rescue / vehicle accident incidents.  It also backs up Engine 24-1 for fire incidents.

Squad 24 is a versatile 4 wheel drive vehicle, used for medical response indicents, to transport extra personnel, and minor accident response.

Our primary fund raising activity is Bingo, which is held every Monday at 7:00 pm, with a variety of exciting bingo games, and a snack kitchen with a broad menu of food items and refreshments.
