Notice The Union Township Board of Supervisors will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, April 26, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Union Township Municipal Building, 3904 Finley Elrama Rd.. Finleyville, Pa 15332, for the purpose of hearing comments and recommendations regarding a proposed Ordinance amending Union Township Ordinance No. 106, as amended, specifically Section 202 “Definitions”, Section 1500 “Express Standards and Criteria for Granting Conditional Uses by Special Exception” Table 2: Non-residential Permitted Use Chart”, and adding Section 1503.40 “Oil and Gas Extraction; Conditional Uses”. Copies of Ordinance No. 106, as amended, and the proposed Ordinance amending No. 106 may he reviewed and/or purchased at the Office of the Secretary/Treasurer at the Union Township Municipal Building between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. |

| Please take note that the validity of the Union Township Zoning
Ordinance is in question, and a curative amendment has been proposed by
BDH, Inc., and the Library Sportsmen's Club. This proposed curative
amendment would change the zoning map to create a mixed-use overlay
district re-zoned as H-1 in a 140-acre tract along Cardox Road, presently
zoned RD and SD. The proposed reason for this change is to allow
reclamation and use of the abandoned mines located thereon and to
accommodate future land uses through appropriate designs. The Union
Township Board of Supervisors will conduct a public hearing on this
submitted curative amendment on the 9th day of January, 2006, at 7:00
o'clock P.M. at the Union Township Municipal Building, 3904 Finley-Elrama
Road, Finleyville, Pennsylvania 15332. A full and complete copy of the proposed curative amendment may be examined by members of the public before the above-noted hearing at the Washington County Law Library and at the Township offices during regular business hours |

Notice is hereby given that a hearing on a conditional use application and information regarding the same will be held by the Union Township Board of Supervisors on the 29th day of August, 2005 at the Union Township Municipal Building at 7:00 p.m. This conditional use, if approved, will permit the erection of two (2) Lamar billboard structures along Toll Road 43 on the Mon-View Mining Property, more specifically, 50 feet South of the Courtney Hill Road and 200 feet North of Joe Montana Bridge. This property is currently zoned "SD" Special Development. |

Hearing Board of Union Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, shall
hold a Public Hearing at 7:00 p.m. on August 25,
2005, at the Union Township Municipal Building, 3904 Finley
Elrama Road, Finleyville, PA 15332, on an application for a sign
variance for property known as the Tuscany Estates situate on Patterson
Road by Bruce Klassen.
A copy of said Application is available for public inspection at the office of the Union Township Zoning Officer between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 (noon) Monday through Friday. |
