Questions, Contact the Road Foreman, Albert B. Snow Storms and On-Street Parking Residents are reminded not to park on township streets and roads during snow storms and 16 hours after a snow fall in order to allow the road crew to clear and salt the roads. In addition, do not shovel snow onto the road. Shoveling snow from your driveway onto the road creates a hazardous condition for drivers as they hit the piles of snow. Shovel the snow off the road and on the up-street side so the snow plows do not push the snow back in your driveway.
Pleasant View Road residents are almost home.
Pleasant View Road was close approximately 1500 feet from Route 837. Township Supervisors have solicited many sources of funding to repair the road without any luck. With the help of the road crew, the road is open as a single lane. The road crew dug into the hillside to increase the lane width. They also put up a guide rail to keep cars away from the slide. Thanks guys!
The Road crew is keeping an eye on two other problem areas - Gillmore Road (Just off of Coal Bluff Road) and Airport Road (about 1/2 mile from Route 88).
