Objectives:

	To raise the recreational standards in Union Township
	Supervise the use of recreational facilities in Union Township to include the coordination of facility use by individuals, private groups and volunteer groups
	Operate and oversee the maintenance of the recreational facilities to provide a comprehensive program of maintenance of the facilities, maximizing the enjoyable use by the Township residents.
	Plan and schedule Township sponsored recreational programs for the enjoyment of the residents
	Coordinate the implementation of the Comprehensive Plan for Recreation and provide long and short-ranged guidelines for the operation of recreational programs and facilities in the Township.
